Well, the Great American Summer o’ Laziness and Over-Eating is officially over. Tomorrow is the first day of school in American Samoa! But because we are real, seasoned islanders, we won’t be there for that. Apparently, none of the new WorldTeachers are going to be there either so it’s alright. Eh, T.I.S. Our first flight leaves way too early tomorrow, and we should be standing on rocky Samoan soil by midnight. Wowzers. I can’t believe we’re doing this again.
I hate that we didn’t get to see everyone or spend as much time with y’all as we would’ve liked. We’re sorry that we weren’t able to see some of you but there’s always next summer, right?
Now for the logistics:
1. My phone number is the same as last year (the 684 number). Wes has his very own phone this year. Email me if you need the numbers.
2. Our mailing address should be different. As soon as we know what it is we’ll post it here.
3. I have a skype! So does Wes!
Huh. I guess that’s it.
Thanks for a great summer, America. We’ll see you in June.
